UK – Danish eHealth Leaders converge in Copenhagen
The Forum brought together over 90 leaders and key decision makers, from over 45 organisations involved in the eHealth industry, to discuss the industry landscape, market opportunities and to showcase the innovative best practise solutions being implemented today.
Attendees included senior UK and Danish figures such as Henry Pares, Head of Informatics at Department of Health; George Crooks, Managing Director at NHS24; John Turner, CEO at NHS24; Kim Høgh, Group Managing Director Capital Region Denmark; and Tom Togsverd, Director at DI ITEK.
The events took place during eHealth week, the largest-pan European Conference co-organised by the European Commission and the World of Health IT Conference (WoHIT).
Simon Nicklin, Director for UK Trade and Investment Denmark, commented “As the momentum of new innovative eHealth solutions gathers pace, the common hurdle of effective implementation continues to obstruct the promised economic, patient and healthcare efficiency benefits. This Forum provided a strong platform to engage UK and Danish private-sector decision makers, innovative businesses and forward-thinking hospital leaders to stimulate the uptake of new solutions.”
