Overview

BrocklebankPenn brings together more than 100 years of client and agency experience to offer a direct, honest and results-driven approach to solving marketing problems.

It’s an approach based on an unshakeable core principle: that clients should always have direct access to our executive team. Regardless of the scale of the project, you get deep, quick and clever thinking from experienced and knowledgeable people.

As an agency, we want to cut through the restrictive hierarchies and tired processes that lead to predictable, repetitive responses. Instead, we listen, we think collectively and we deliver answers that are right and practical.

Our focus is on Identifying, Shaping and Solving your real problems. We call this the BrocklebankPenn Hallmark.

The founders of BrocklebankPenn are impressed by real results, driven by brilliant thinking. So while we are proud of the work we produce, we are equally proud of the thinking that has led to those great results and killer ideas.

This is the fundamental principle behind the BrocklebankPenn Hallmark: the full depth and breadth of our executive team’s knowledge and experience is applied to Identifying, Shaping and Solving every marketing problem presented to us, no matter how large or small.

We also think quickly, because every deadline is tighter than the last, and we think cleverly, because that's what our clients need. It really is the ‘thought’ that counts.

Identify

It’s often said that identifying a problem is the hardest part of solving it. Actually, we don’t often say it – we just get on and do it.

Between the five members of our executive team, there’s not much we haven’t seen before. But we keep rigorously open minds until we’ve listened closely to our clients and completed our initial round of thinking.

We separate symptoms from causes, analyse dependencies and close gaps to distil the challenge confronting us, allowing everyone to understand the real problem.

Shape

This is where the real creativity kicks in. We explore the problem in detail, questioning, testing and thinking to find a path to the solution.

Shaping the problem gives you a quantitative and qualitative measure of what is needed. You can see clearly what's at stake and how much the solution will deliver to your business. This is the stepping stone to the solution.

Solve

More than a great idea, or a single piece of marketing collateral, the solution will be a structured process that takes you from where you are now to where you want to be.

Of course, nothing in marketing is straightforward. We will work with you at every step, learning, refining and improving the process as the solution begins to work. You will always be dealing with someone from our executive team, giving you the best of our experience, knowledge and client-centred service.

You’ll know it’s working, because the processes of identification and shaping have given you the measures you need. And you’ll know it’s us, because it’s working.
