Life Science Opportunities in South Africa
South Africa consists of a large public health sector and smaller but fast growing private health sector. Despite its size, the public health sector caters for 80% of South Africa’s population and has been largely lacking both in infrastructure and human resources. The private health sector on the other hand is well resourced and currently services 20% of the population.
