Canada - Logistics Park and Intermodal Terminal

New logistics park and intermodal terminal to be built near Calgary, Alberta.

Calgary is the third largest distribution centre in Canada.

Proposed $100 million, 680-acre park will include a state-of-the-art intermodal terminal, multi-commodity transload and warehouse facility, automotive compound, and a liquid/bulk transload and distribution facility. Total potential warehousing footprint is over 2 million square feet.

Site is located a few miles east of Calgary International Airport, and provides access to major roadways.

Project subject to regulatory approval, environmental assessment and public consultation.

Scheduled opening expected in 2013.
