Security opportunities in Lithuania

Lithuanian security sector is constantly being upgraded, however it is still not developed to the extend present in Western European countries. Private sector is ahead of public sector applying high security standards.

Lithuania joined Schengen zone on 21 December 2007. Lithuania has 1042.8 km of an external border of the European Union. Lithuania has also a border with Russia’s Baltic exclave Kaliningrad and has to ensure safe transit through Lithuanian territory between Kaliningrad and Russia.

Export Marketing Research Scheme. In depth subsidised research service administered by the British chambers of Commerce on behalf of UKTI

Take the first step, and contact your local International Trade Team to find out more about all of UKTI's services, and their suitability for your business. You'll find a list of our regional offices here, or use our postcode searcher, labelled as "Contacts in your Region" on our export landing page.
