Austria
Austria is a landlocked country in Central Europe with an overall territory of 83,872 square kilometres (34,000 square miles). Two thirds of the country consists of mountainous Alpine regions, levelling out northward to the Danube. Neighbouring countries are Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Liechtenstein.
