NORDMANN, RASSMANN GMBH (NRC) is a Hamburg-based chemical distribution company, sourcing globally and serving most major branches of the chemical industry in Germany, Austria, Switzerland plus Scandinavia and selected Eastern European countries. NRC is aiming for a long term supplier relationships and has served many of their suppliers, well known chemical manufacturers, for decades already. A brief intro to the company is attached.
The company is about to start activities in the field of raw materials and additives for engineering and bio ceramics, mainly focusing on oxide ceramics.
Technical notes:
NRC’s particular interest is to find a capable supplier and to approach these market segments with both binder- and non-binder-grades of 3Y PSZ and potentially 8Y+ FSZ. The goal would be to go for a PSZ grade achieving 1000-1200 MPa in three point bending strength. The company understands well that today’s focus in SOFC ion conductivity is priority number one. Hydrostability is of great importance in bio-ceramics.
