Online Exporting – UKTI services for UK business
UKTI is committed to providing help to UK companies looking to export overseas using the web. Every company is different, and we recognise that there is not a single product or internet service we can offer that will support all types of companies at all stages of their international journey.
The UKTI offer is made of three parts, communications help, access to markets, and a place to ask questions and find answers.
Our Export Communications Review (ECR) service provides expert advisers who can review all of your communication tools including your website and marketing materials and advise you on how to better approach your key overseas markets. Following an ECR of your website requirements, you could then go on to access up to 50% of the costs for making the recommended action plan changes in your site.
The ECR website review will review the effectiveness of your website to communicate with potential overseas customers and to generate export business. The review can offer a comprehensive analysis of your web strategy, covering technical aspects involved in setting up an international website, the design, structure and navigation of the site for overseas visitors, appropriate international content, translation and localisation, ecommerce, language and cultural considerations.
Grow online – expand worldwide image
The Export Communications Review also provides the Web Optimisation for International Trade workshop and E-commerce for International Trade masterclasses which are run by our UKTI regional offices.
The Retail trade workshops help with access to new markets. These will be run throughout the whole country and give advice and case studies for using online platforms to approach markets with high growth potential for British goods and services.
For all other help with exporting, we’d invite you to look at Open to Export. This is a place where UK businesses and service provides can ask and find help on web exporting.
