Paul Davis + Partners is an architects and urban designers practice which focuses on integrating contemporary architecture with historic environments. From its London HQ, the company has been working in Asia for 12 years and launched PDP East (in Hong Kong) as a base for its expanding regional operations in late 2010. It has since grown its local staff from 3 to 13.

Tips for doing business in Asia:

• Gain experience of the region before entering the market directly. Getting in touch with UK companies which have already established a local presence is an effective way of doing this. The ex-pat business community is an invaluable source of advice and contacts.
