Aberdeen University’s education programmes are a success in Mexico thanks to leads and contacts provided by UKTI.

The University of Aberdeen is one of the UK's most distinguished institutions of higher education. Like many other British universities, in recent years it has looked to capitalise on the international market for its education and training programmes, both as a way to raise its global profile and as an additional source of revenue.

In 2005, it began to actively explore links with international businesses through UK Trade & Investment. Through trade missions and contacts with UKTI/SDI staff in Mexico it has built up collaborate research/training contacts in the oil & gas sector.
