UKTI services in the South East Region

UKTI South East is an award winning trade team providing impartial and expert advice to companies in the South East region covering: Kent; East Sussex; West Sussex; Surrey; Buckinghamshire; Oxfordshire; Berkshire; Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

While it is without a single dominant urban center, the region is home to two cities with populations of around 250,000 (Medway and Brighton and Hove) and five cities with populations of greater than 100,000.

The ITA team is made up of dedicated sector specialists across the key sectors. They have extensive professional knowledge and experience of exporting.

We focus on intensive tailored one-to-one support to both first-time and existing exporters by targeting innovative and high growth companies that are capable of succeeding in export markets in the longer term.

We run extensive activities programme compromising of events and market visits which reflect the drive to enhance focus on high-growth and emerging markets. We also run an annual series Master Class on key export topics such as selecting Agents and Distributors

We have 40 experienced and impartial International Trade Advisers (ITAs) in the region helping companies to win business overseas, some of whom have specialist expertise in the following sectors: Advanced Engineering, Aerospace & Airports, Biotechnology/Healthcare, Creative Industries, Defence & Security, Financial & Professional services, Marine, Environmental, and Education & Training. Within our ITA team we also have a China Business Adviser who has many years of experience advising businesses on trading with China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
