BioWales 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of the international life sciences event, the brokerage section of the event will allow you to find out more about the sector in Europe.

The programme is designed for bioscience industry professionals and academics seeking licensing and business development opportunities or simply networking to create new connections. BioWales 2012 offers an opportunity to showcase your business, learn about the latest trends and developments in the sector and make valuable connections.

The themes this year will showcase the Welsh Government's commitment to support Innovation, Translation and Commercialisation, in particular the focus on attracting private finance and experienced investors, and on finding, creating and supporting entrepreneurs who have the skills and appetite to commercialise research and grow businesses. The event aims to provide opportunities to inspire and to drive ambition and success, and demonstrate that Wales is a key location for Life Sciences research and enterprise.

Conference and Brokerage sessions will be separate this year to enable everyone to fully participate in both.

The brokerage at BioWales features one-to-one technology meetings to enable you to network in the most structured way – to investigate new business opportunities, build contacts and discuss potential collaborations, licensing and manufacturing deals in 550 brokerage meetings that will generate £2.5m of investment over the two day event.
