What is the UK Advisory Network?

UK Trade & Investment understand the vital role that professional business service firms play within Trade and Investment processes. Consequently, an initiative, the UK Advisory Network, has been created to further enrich our existing contact with the Private Sector.

Can I join the Network?

All Network members have been carefully selected by UK Trade & Investment and have been invited to participate. If you would like your organisation to be considered for inclusion as part of the UK Advisory Network, please complete the short enquiry form selecting “UK Advisory Network” from the dropdown list,.

How much does membership cost?

Membership of the Network is free. All organisations within the Network are required to demonstrate their appropriateness and commitment by meeting a set of membership criteria.

What are the objectives of the Network?

The objectives are:

• Enriched partnership working between Government and Private Sector for the delivery and retention of high quality Inward Investment in the UK and commitment to assist the growth and expansion of UK companies overseas

• Delivery of consistent marketing messages and commitment to collaborative working when supporting both Trade and Investment

• Collaboration to establish and maintain an understanding of the UK’s competitive position in both Trade and Investment

• Forum for feedback to UKTI by partners on issues that are affecting Investment decisions both in the UK and elsewhere

• Smoother and seamless transfer between Government and Private Sector support

What will the Network do for me?

The Network will provide organisations with a voice in Government and the opportunity to influence regulation and policy. Members will have access to UK Trade & Investment market intelligence planning and targeting.

The Network will also provide regular networking opportunities with senior members of associated professions and with Ministers and other Government Departments.

Members of the Network will be able to promote themselves and the Network on this website, providing content to be shared by other members and visitors to the site.
