Education Show in Vienna Proves a Hit Again Across Central & Eastern Europe

UKTI teams from across 15 central and eastern European countries came together in June to put on a major two day exhibition for 37 UK suppliers of corporate education services.

The event at the British Ambassador’s residence in Vienna was the culmination of lengthy negotiation, planning and hard work by staff from Austria, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey and Sectors Group.

UKTI whittled down applications from over 60 companies to a pool of 37 firms with services that best reflected the opportunities in the regional markets – an approach that proved popular with both exhibitors and visitors.

Approximately 100 visitors attended; participants included senior HR decision-makers, training agents and trade press.

The exhibition was another example of how collaborative working across multiple UKTI teams can provide real tangible benefits for UK business as well as enabling closer working relationships within UKTI and progress towards hitting our challenging targets.
