India : Hiring of Consultancy Services
1. A premier E&P Company of India, intends to hire consultancy services for advising on its offshore supply chain net work. The study will basically cover the following areas:
b) To find out the adequacy of the existing fleet keeping in view the existing locations of installations/rigs at West & east coast and regulatory requirement.
c) To find out optimum OSV fleet strength for the next 5 years keeping in view the expansion plans.
d) To suggest type and capacity of vessels required
e) To suggest optimum utilization/scheduling of vessels at NSB/Kakinada
f) To suggest improvement in supply chain at NSB/Kakinada for operations
Comprehensive study is required to be conducted by the consultant. Consultant is expected to thoroughly study the existing Organizational structure, Logistic process flow, Logistic procedures, Logistics work instructions, parameters related to fleet, environment, geography of locations, port infrastructure, Historical data on vessels . Consultant is also expected to visit all key installations, interact with personnel involved in supply chain, make a fact finding visit to supply bases for document study, interviews and analysis and conclude logically with the supporting data.
Company seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from the potential reputed Domestic and International consultants (companies not individuals) having the requisite experience. Bidders are requested to study the scope of work, evaluation criteria, enclosed in the EOI notice and submit brief details of their experience in this area in the following format:
a) Name and address of the clients
b) Nature of consultancy provided
c) Period of consultancy
Based on the past experience details provided by the bidders as above, the company will invite the potential consultancy companies for an Expression of interest meet proposed to be held in Mumbai on 30th June 2010 for presentation and discussions.
