India - Laying/re-laying of Mechanized Track

A Leading Indian infrastructure company wants tie-up in Mechanized Track Laying or Relaying

Indian company is in the process of bidding for a railway project, for the same they are looking for a partner having experience in laying/re-laying of Mechanized Track. The criteria stipulates that the company should have built:

  • 70 Km track length in any one year during the period to be eligible for 1 contract

  • 105 Km track length in any one year during the period to be eligible for 2 contracts

  • 140 Km track length in any one year during the period to be eligible for 3 contracts

The project awarding body has clarified that for Mechanized Track Laying or Relaying the bidders are allowed to deploy the agencies on sub-contractor basis. The tie-up agreement as well as the credential of the sub-contractor have to be submitted in the PQ.
