India – Bid for Border Check Post Security Equipments
One of the leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction company in India has bagged a major project of Border Check Post Security for a State and is likely to win similar order from other states. They are also looking at cargo options at ports, railways and airports.
The border check post will be implemented at 22 posts (3 major check posts, 2 big, 7 medium and 10 small). The company is looking at installing automatic vehicle counter and classifier (378 nos.), scanner for goods scanning (12 nos.) Speed radar gun (44 nos.), Lane cameras (378 nos.), Camera for parking detention (132 nos.), Bird’s eye view camera (88 nos.), data centre server, storage & networking components, application software and other security IT and allied equipments. For instance, 84 lane desktops computer (Sn. 1) are required for a major check post. There are 3 major check posts, so for all 3 locations, 84x3=252 lane desktops computer would be required.
The bidding company is expected to take care of the entire IT and allied works for the project including setting up, installations, testing, commissioning and maintenance. Please note: The company has already reached the RFP stage and would be finalizing on the company shortly.
