Innovation is at the heart of the UK approach to energy and climate change, which is currently leading to new solutions and lower costs for technologies such as wind power, marine resources and clean coal, among many others.
UK energy companies currently generate revenues of more than £90 billion from domestic and international business and employ 600,000 people. This is expected to rise to £200 billion and one million employees by 2030.
